これまでにDaniel WangのBalihuやWurstといったインディペンデントなダンスミュージック・レーベルや、自身のChinatownからリリースを重ねてきたDJ、プロデューサー、Brennan Green。

ハウス、ディスコ、コズミック、ポストパンクなど、あらゆるジャンルの要素を取入れながらも、１つの型に収まらない彼のスタイルは、多くのアンダーグランドミュージックのファンを魅了し続け、リミキサーとしてもLiquid Liquid、Lindstrom、Runaway、Franz Ferdinand、DFAといった様々なアーティストのリミックスを多く手掛けてきた。

2011年初頭にリリースされたアルバムで話題を呼んだ、今は亡き伝説のミュージシャン、Arthur Russellと交流の深かったミュージシャンらによってアーサーの名曲群をカバーしたプロジェクト、Arhtur's Landingにはプロデューサーとして参加。アルバムのリリースに先駆けリリースされたシングル"Is it all over my face"は、スモーキーかつサイケデリックなサウンドを押し出した現代的なカバーで大きな話題を呼んだ。

DJとしても、ディスコ、ハウス、テクノ、ダブ、ロックなど様々なジャンルを織り交ぜた幅広い選曲で、ダンスフロアーを盛り上げ、日本、オーストラリアを始めとして、世界中を周り、ニューヨーク－P.S.1、ロンドン－Fabric、Horse Meat Disco、東京のYellow、シドニーのMadracketなどの世界屈指のアンダーグラウンドパーティーに参戦してきた。

昨今ではグラミー賞獲得アーティスト、Kid Creole and the Coconutとして知られるAugust Darnellの最新アルバム、"I Wake Up Screaming"にリミキサーとして参加。Augustは、今回のアルバムがニューヨーク・テイストを持った作品に仕上がった理由としてBrennan Greenの手腕が大きく影響したことがあげ、様々なメディア上で彼に対する賛辞をよせている。

また、LCD Soundsystemがマディソン・スクエア・ガーデンで行った解散コンサートに登場したLiquid Liquidのステージでは、PAとしてサウンド・エンジニアリングを担当。彼の多彩な才能と音楽センスをフルに発揮し、幅広い活動を続けている。

DJ, producer and mix engineer Brennan Green is associated with a number of current styles of dance music – house, disco, leftfield, cosmic, baleric, post punk, electrofunk etc.– but no fashion or sub-sub-genre adequately describes Green's trademark sound. 

 His productions on independent dance labels such as Daniel Wang's Balihu, Wurst Records and his own label, Chinatown, have an organic feel that is rare in modern dance music. Green's vinyl-only releases combine both acoustic and electronic instrumentation with syncopated rhythms and hypnotic basslines. As a remixer Brennan has also found a voice all his own with popular remixes for Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Liquid Liquid, Lindstrom, Franz Ferdinand and DFA. Most recently his remix of Damian Lazarus' Neverending (Get Physical) was picked for Pete Tong's Essential New Tune on Radio One.

 Offering all night long, genre-bending DJ-sets with sounds that span disco, house, techno, dub and rock. His New York parties Pop Your Funk (APT, 01-04) and Junky Blues (Flamingo East, 99-01) were instrumental in pioneering the current underground disco invasion and since then he has toured extensively through Japan, Australia, Europe, North/South America and Russia at many of the world's best underground parties. He's Currently holding down a monthly residency at NYC's east village jazz outpost Nublu (04-now). 

  Brennan recently co-produced the resurrected Arthur Russell/Loose Joints project, "Arthur's Landing" for Strut/K7 UK and has released 2 12" singles on his own CHINATOWN imprint consisting of the epitome of disco classics "Is It All Over My Face" feat. Nomi Ruiz from Hercules and Love Affair fame.

Also having just completed production and mixing duties for grammy award winning artist August Darnell's Kid Creole and the Coconuts LP project for STRUT, UK entitled I Wake Up Screaming.
